He started his career as Design Engineer in Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. Pune & Then joined Toyota Kirloskar Joint Venture Company from the beginning Year 1997. Last18 years having experience in automobile manufacturing heading functions like Production, Engineering, Quality control, Logistic and projects. Has 2 years experience in Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Regional HQ for Production preparation for Asia Pacific region. He has wide experience working with the international community from Japan, USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan etc. Mr. Ketkale is a member of Engg. Export promotion council for 2 & 4 wheeler Panel.
As project leader, he was responsible for construction new plant with 210,000 capacity from foundation to Vehicle launch including plant & machinery. Built with world-class technology plant with high-level safety management, quality management. Got state & national level award for safety & environment.
The year 2013 during the economic downturn & company condition become very serious. He drives company-wide activity with a lot of passion under the slogan of Smooth, Simple & Slim. High quality, High efficiency & Slim processes with minimum resources. Achieve cost reduction & develop org, Capability through this process. Reduced 35 % conversion cost includes 25 % productivity up& 40 % energy cost inside the plant.
As Environment Director driving CO2 reduction & water conservation across the plant in energy & Value chain. As a result, TKM could reduce 55 % CO2, 34 % water, 23 % VOC, 55 % Haz. Waste reduction in last 4 years. Toyota India got No.1 ECO company award in Asia Pacific region for the last 3 years. As a result, Toyota Kirloskar Motor got selected as Model plant this year for Zero Co2 in Asia Pacific region
The year 2016 TKM management decided to drive Technology projects across the company to enhance the competitiveness of operation and Mr. Ketkale nominated as Technology Leader to drive Industry 4.0 across manufacturing and working with technology partners on different projects in Production, quality, energy, logistics and Maintenance area.
