MOU Sign Off Between NIQR And SUTF On 3rd March 2018
NIQR has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with M/s Samarth Udyog Technical Forum (SUTF) to support and participate through the C4i4 initiative (Centre for learning in Industry 4.0) to drive the implementation of industry 4.0 practices at MSMEs.
The Pune City Centre of C4i4 was launched on 11th December 2017 under the SAMARTH Udyog Programme (Smart and Advanced Manufacturing And Rapid Transformation Hubs). This is an initiative of the Department of Heavy Industries, Government of India.
Four such centres are started by Government of India and the Pune cente is mentored by M/S Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited.
The MOU was signed on 3rd March’2018 at Pune by Mr. P. K. Aggarwal, National President NIQR and Mr. Dattatraya Navalgundkar, Director SUTF in the presence of Mr. Rahul Kirloskar, Chairman, Kirloskar Pneumatics and the senior members of NIQR from Chennai & Pune. This MOU will help in conducting a joint pilot project with 5 Chennai companies out of 50 MSMEs planned by SUTF under their commitment with DHI. Based on the learnings from these pilots, NIQR will take a decision to establish a demo center at Chennai with the help of SUTF to support other MSMEs. Based on the success of this initiative at Chennai, other branches of NIQR will subsequently join this movement.
