Awareness Program on INDUSTRY 4.0 & it’sSpread in Different Sectors: No. 90 at SRM Institute of Science and Technology Kattankulathur
Lecture Program on “Industry 4.0 and its Spread in Various Sectors” was conducted on 23rd January 2024 by Mr. C V Gowri Sankar, National Council Member, NIQR at SRM Institute of Science and Technology Kattankulathur, Chennai.
This is part of Six-day Faculty Development Program on “IMPACT OF INDUSTRY 4.0 IN INDUSTRIES AND ACADEMIA “sponsored by ‘AICTE TRAINING AND LEARNING ACADEMY’ and organised by mechanical Engineering Department of SRMIST, Kattankulathur.
30+ Professors and Assistant Professors from various engineering colleges pan-India attended the program; the program was well received and the interaction was very good throughout the session.
The faculty explained the evolution of “Industrial Revolution” from Industry 1.0 to Industry 4.0.

The interesting part of the day was one Faculty member came forward to conduct the session on Agriculture 4.0 on encouragement from the faculty using the faculty’s material.
The use of nearly 60 videos to enhance easy absorption of the subject was well appreciated by many participants.
The program was coordinated by Dr. E. Vijayaraghavan, Asst. Professor, SRMIST, Kattankulathur.
With this 60thprogram of NIQR, totally 14327 minds have been sensitized so far on Industry 4.0.
