General Manager – South
Suresh S brings with him three decades of in-depth knowledge about advanced Manufacturing, Power Control, and alternative energy Industry across the Asia Pacific through his diverse experience.
He started as a hands-on controls systems startup engineer and moved up the ladder to be a control system design engineer, project manager, a solution selling expert, commercial operations director and senior sales and management professional.
Currently, he is General Manager- South Region for Rockwell Automation India, which includes Southern India and Sri Lanka. In this role, Suresh is responsible for delivering business results while at the same time developing an overall ecosystem of delivery partners and most importantly leading a highly motivated team of sales, business development, and product management people.
Prior to joining Rockwell Automation, Suresh has had a tremendously varied experience of working in General Electric for about 16 years in India, China and South East Asia and prior to that in Control & Automation Division of Larsen & Toubro Limited, Mumbai.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Visveswaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur.
Apart from his passion of being a student following the latest trends in the manufacturing industry and adoption of advanced Industrial Control & Automation, he loves to cycle, read books and enjoys wildlife photography.
