NIQR Chennai Branch AGM
The 28th Annual General Body Meeting of NIQR, Chennai Branch was held at 6.45 PM on Wednesday, the 14th September 2016 at Hotel Radha Regent. 129 members and guests attended the AGM this year, which is the highest in our history. The proceedings started with the invocation song.
Mr. S. Rajasekaran, Chennai Branch Chairman welcomed the members. After the confirmation of the minutes of the 27th AGM held on 1st August 2015, Mr. C. V. Gowri Sankar, Chennai Branch Secretary presented the annual report for 2015-2016. Mr. C. Sundaravadivelu, Chennai Branch Treasurer presented the audited statement of accounts for the period 01-04-2015 to 31-03-2016.
The new set of Executive Committee Members and Office Bearers was selected and approved by the members. The new Chairman Mr. K. Manikandan took over NIQR Quality Key from the outgoing Chairman Mr. S. Rajasekaran and addressed the Members.
Mr. C V Gowri Sankar, Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
A movie prepared by Mr. C V Gowri Sankar about all the events of NIQR for the last 2 years was screened and all the members present appreciated it.
