Awareness Program on INDUSTRY 4.0 & it’s Spread in Different Sectors: No. 61 at CIPET
Lecture Program on “Industry 4.0 and its Spread in Various Sectors” was conducted on 23rdFebruary 2024 by Mr. C. V. Gowri Sankar, National Council Member, NIQR at Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Guindy, Chennai.
The faculty explained the evolution of “Industrial Revolution” from Industry 1.0 to Industry 4.0 and dwelt on the spread of it in different sectors.

This is part of Quarterly Industry Interaction Meet organised by CIPET wherein Entrepreneurs, CEOs, MDs and senior design professionals from MSMEs of plastic Industries participate. For today’s meet, the management has chosen a knowledge sharing session on Industry 4.0.
There were
70+ participants and the session from 3pm got extended to 5.30pm with lot of
interaction.
The program was well received and the interaction was very good throughout the session.The use of nearly 60 videos to enhance easy absorption of the subject was well appreciated by many participants.
Mr. Elango,Principal Director and Head, CIPET in his concluding remarks appreciated the session for its coverage of spread of Industry 4.0 Industries.
Subramanya Pillai, MD, Premier Plastic Industries, one of the participants admiredthe research done in different fields which have started using the latest technologies of Industry 4.0 and use of appropriate videos for easy understanding by the audience.
With this 61stprogram of NIQR, totally 14397 minds have been sensitized so far on Industry 4.0.
